Here are some tools that can help making vibration work with DirectInput controllers:ġ. Some Playstation 3 controllers are worse, especially Sony DualShock 3, but these controllers they are not Windows compatible by default, and needs driver replacements, so there is probably nothing that YoYoGames can do about that. I am making a game with wide game controller support, because I dont want players to have to invest in more game controllers for the vibration alone, if they already have working game controllers with vibration/rumble.Ī lot of people have one or more Playstation 4 controllers these days so I think its silly not to be able to use the vibration with a PC, now that several of the Playstation 4 controllers already are PC compatible (Sony, Nacon). I also have a few older usb controllers with directinput and rumble (Logitech Rumble Pad 2 wired and Logitech F710 wireless in DirectInput mode). I know that GMS2 do not support vibration/rumble of DirectInput controllers, because it says so in the manual, but I hope that GMS will someday, because: Modern controllers for Playstation and Nintendo Switch have vibration/rumble but they are directinput controllers, so the vibration do not work with GMS2 projects. ![]()
